Case study Genie
Genie was born in 1957 in California USA. Genie had a very sad and tragic childhood as she was reared by cruel and abusive parents who tied
her to a potty chair and locked her in an empty room with nothing to keep her stimulated. There were no pictures to view, no toys to play with or other children to
interact with. Genie was mostly fed on porridge and deprived of parental care and love.
